Bratislava
Bratislava -a high point of any journey on the Danube.

Recently,I was asked to exhibit my artwork on

Fine Art  America.com

This is truly an innovative source of Art in prints, cards and in some instances original paintings .
I decided to put a sampling of Oils and Watercolors and I included this sketch of Bratislava. I commend the site as it features a multitude of artists of a broad price range.  Take a look !!
NOTE: Some asked if originals or copies of the sketches would be available. The answer is that Giclee' copies will be available .My Giclees are archival ink on archival paper and can be sized to order.

There will be original paintings in oil or watercolor resulting from sketches and data made on the trip. It is possible that a booklet may journal the cruise so ,if interested, please contact me at alisle @bellsouth.net.

Thank s for all of the interest . Albert

          A little about me-

I paint because I love it!
The intriguing shapes and colors are a constant challenge to me.
I paint in my studios at St. Simons Island and Lake Rabun. The variety of subjects compels me to try different mediums and approaches. I contend that " the subject determines the medium".
I paint at every opportunity and study at workshops whenever possible. Learning from my colleagues is a pleasure and is one reason that I am in organizations such as Oil Painters of America and the many other juried groups.
Plein air painting keep my paintings alive and spirits high. The watercolors done on our recent trip to South America provide a journal and a source for studio paintings such as the Valaraiso Oil now underway.
